Women’s Ministry
Glenstone Chapel Women’s Ministry exists to encourage women in:
Connecting with each other, growing in God’s word, and serving in our communities by providing a safe place to invite women into relationship with God and each other.
Bible Study: Bible study involves a time of fellowship, large group teaching, small group discussion, and manageable weekly homework to encourage women to make it a daily habit to grow in God’s Word.

Glenstone Chapel Women’s Ministry will be offering two seven-week sessions of Bible study this spring. The first study, Walking by Faith: Lessons Learned in the Dark, will meet February 4th through March 18th. After a break for Easter, we’ll resume April 15th through May 28th for Conversation Peace. Each study will cost $15. We will be offering Thursday morning and Thursday evening sessions for both studies at Marvin AME Zion Church, with childcare available during the morning session.
Registration for Walking by Faith will begin Sunday, January 10, at the information center. You may also register by clicking here. The study contrasts the evidences of walking by faith and walking by sight and encourages participants to take risks, give God control, persevere through hardship, receive God’s gifts, be guided by the Truth rather than feelings, and seek God. We hope to see many of you there.
Oasis Evenings occur 4 times a year. They offer an opportunity for women to connect with one another in a relaxed environment and be refreshed by the love of God. Refreshments are served. Our next Oasis Evening is scheduled for March 26. Click here for more information or to register.
Dove’s Nest is an organization that helps women find their way off the streets and helps them overcome addictions. The Glenstone Chapel Women’s ministry provides an opportunity for our women to invest their time in the lives of the residents of Dove’s Nest by having periodic events such as dinners, game nights, craft projects, and decorating projects.
