How do we live as God’s people in the midst of changing and challenging days?  The church is operating from the fringe of culture now and we need to find how to live together as God’s people from the fringe.  We are called to be on mission, yet do so as a distinct people.   In many ways the book of Joshua parallels the book of Acts – being God’s new people in a new situation.  It will include topics of courageous leadership, serving one another, sharing with those less fortunate, being inclusive of the “Rahabs”, no sin being private, obedience to God’s commands, listening to God rather than conventional wisdom, not being deceived, and using our gifts to complement one another.
