Men, are you looking to connect with other guys, grow spiritually or serve others? Well, Glenstone Chapel’s Men’s Ministry has plans that will interest you. This year you will see Bible studies, softball, service projects, motorcycle rides, and more that will help you to Connect with others in Glenstone Chapel, Grow in your relationship with God, Serve others, and Go out to your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. Our goal is to enrich your walk with Jesus, encourage you in growth, and welcome all men into our community. Much of our time together will provide easy opportunities to invite your friends who are looking for an opportunity to connect with other guys.
BIBLE STUDY
Men’s Bible Study: There’s a danger in reading just portions of scripture and not all scripture. The scriptures were written in part to reveal to us God’s whole character (II Timothy 3:16, all scripture). When we pick and choose the part we read, it gives us a skewed view of God. When we read only the Gospels, God becomes reduced to the flannel-graph Jesus from childhood. If all we read is the Old Testament, God becomes austere and demanding. When we read of the saints that struggled with the jobs God gave them (like the prophets), we gain company when we feel alone. Together the combination of perspectives brings balance, and gives us a balanced view of God.
