Scott Utesch
Lead Pastor
Married to his wife, Angie, with three kids: Nathan, Andrew, and Anna. Scott has a BS in Mechanical Engineering (NC State) and a Master of Divinity from Regent College (Vancouver, Canada). He served five years on the staff of Young Life, five years with Andersen Consulting (Accenture), and seven years with Church at Charlotte as Community Life pastor.
He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading good books, and riding his motorcycle.

JJ Synan
Director of Children’s Ministries - JJ has a BS in Christian Ministries from Emmanuel College, which helped her learn about Jesus for adults. For the past few years she’s been learning how to creatively communicate the Gospel to children and their parents.
She spends most of her time hanging out with families, walking long distances, practicing her penmanship, and eating vegetables.

Karen Summers
Administrative Assistant – Karen is married to her husband John of 23 years, and has one 19 year old son, Alex. Karen has a B.A. in Economics from Winthrop College. She worked for 26 years at EDS in the financial services division in sales and marketing, and was on staff at another local area church before joining Glenstone Chapel in September 2010. She also currently works for the YMCA at Harris Express in fitness and membership.
Karen is passionate about spending as much time as she can with her son before he leaves for college next fall, loves playing doubles and singles tennis, cooking, and needlework.
